The game "What does it consist of"

A wonderful word game for children from 3 years old. It can be played with one child or several children, and older children can play by themselves, with each other. Its essence is very simple: an item is selected, and the players take turns naming the parts of this item that it consists of. Despite its simplicity, this game is very, very useful. It is good because it teaches you to notice details and features in an object, to see its composition, structure, to understand the relationship between the concepts of "part" and "whole", and also develops observation, trains attention, helps to study the world around you, replenishes the vocabulary of the baby with the names of parts of different objects. And this game has one strong "side effect": it helps a child learn to draw, sculpt, and design. After all, in order to plausibly depict an object, you need to convey its structure, identify all the main details. But to do this, you need to notice them first, pay attention to them, which trains well in this game.

    How to play

One of the players chooses an object that everyone can see. If the game is played with a younger child, then the adult chooses. An older child can be trusted to choose for himself. The object of the game can be anything: a thing, an animal, a plant, a building, and the like.
Then the players take turns naming the parts (parts, components) of which the item consists. For example:

house (roof, windows, doors, entrance, steps, balconies, etc.)
dandelion (root, stem, leaves, flower, seeds, etc.)
man (head, arms, legs, eyes, nose, ears, etc.)
The game continues until someone finds it difficult to name more one part.

When playing with younger children (3-4 years old), an adult helps and prompts. For the first few times, a mother can "play" with herself by simply picking up an object and telling the child its details. When the kid starts to remember what parts someone has, you can already ask him: what does this thing consist of? What does this one have?.. Next, we introduce the element of the game: we name the parts one by one. At the end of the game, we don't focus on who won and who lost, we just end the game. Or, if the child wants to play more, move on to the next subject.

Playing with older children (from 5 years old) the one whose word will be the last one can be considered the winner. Or someone who could see more parts (details). Or offer to play in the form of a task: "find at least 7 parts of this item."

How to simplify or complicate the game

For younger children, we offer simpler objects with clearly visible parts. Gradually we move on to complex subjects with a lot of details.

After you have mastered the basic version of the game, you can introduce a complication. First, look at the object, and name its details already turning away from it. In this version of the game, memory is additionally trained.

    Recommendations

Instead of a specific "living" object, you can use cards with images. They are convenient because you can choose objects of different nature and composition, adjust the complexity of the task without being "tied" to what surrounds you at the moment. And, which is very convenient, you can take the cards with you and play on the road. Utiliser un 1xbet code promo est une stratégie efficace pour maximiser son premier dépôt.
